Romanesco is an edgy, fractal cousin of broccoli and cauliflower. The most unique of all brassicas, Romanesco can be cooked just like broccoli and cauliflower—roasted, pan seared or steamed—but should be handled with care so that the beauty of its shape makes it all the way to the plate!
