Fried Potatoes

Making Fried Potatoes with Mr. Seegal!

Fried Potatoes

Serves 2-3


Ingredients:

  • 2-3 large potatoes

  • 3-4 cloves of garlic

  • 1 small bunch of oregano (optional)

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chile

  • 3-4 Tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook, stirring occasionally.

  2. Once potatoes are browned and partially cooked, add minced garlic and remaining ingredients.

  3. Continue cooking until potatoes are soft when split by a knife. Add more olive oil as necessary to prevent over-drying out of the potatoes.

  4. Serve potatoes as a side accompaniment to grilled meats, eggs, or vegetables!

Note: Like a lot of recipes, you can make this recipe your own by varying the spices and herbs or keeping it simple with the basics, salt and pepper!
